The Triumph of Failure is a group exhibition featuring new work by five lens-based artists, seeking to explore the notion of failure as a conceptual springboard within contemporary photographic practice. In this peculiar context failure becomes a positive trait; allowing photography to be scrutinized as a process beyond the simple representation of reality. The exhibition, comprised of 28 still and video works, is to be mounted at the Noam Gallery in Seoul, South Korea and aims to initiate an intercultural dialogue concerning the curious strength of failure as a point at which artistic practice begins, rather than ends.
